Gravity Capital (“Gravity,” “we,” “us”) is an auto-finance lender and loan servicer. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to gravityautocapital.com, our customer account portal, and our text and email communications.
Information we collect
- Application and account information you or your dealership provide — name, contact details, income and residence information, vehicle and loan terms, and payment history on your account.
- Identity and verification information used to protect your account, such as your phone number and email address for one-time login codes.
- Usage information when you use our website or portal, such as device and log data used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To originate and service your loan: process payments, maintain your account, send statements, receipts, and account notices.
- To evaluate financing requests you submit.
- To report account activity to credit bureaus, as disclosed in your contract.
- To secure our services, prevent fraud, and comply with law — including sanctions screening and record-keeping obligations that apply to lenders.
Your mobile information
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Your text messaging opt-in and consent status are never shared with or transferred to any third party for any unrelated purpose. Opt-in is collected in writing only — through our online opt-in form, the opt-in checkboxes in our online pre-qualification form or account portal, or a signed paper form. If you opt in to text messages, we use your number only to send the account-servicing messages described in our Terms of Use — login codes, payment reminders, account notices, and security alerts — and, only if you separately checked the optional marketing box, occasional marketing messages such as special offers and financing promotions. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts — servicing or marketing — is not a condition of financing.
What we share, and with whom
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers who help us operate (payment processing, messaging and email delivery, cloud hosting), bound to use it solely to provide those services;
- with credit bureaus, as part of servicing your loan;
- with the dealership that originated your financing, as needed to administer it;
- when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights and the security of our customers.
Security and retention
We protect your information with industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging of account activity. We retain records for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required by law for financial records.
Your choices
- Manage text, email, and call preferences any time in your account portal (Settings → Communication preferences), or reply STOP to any text.
- Contact us to review or correct your account information.
- Servicing communications required by law (such as legal notices) may still be sent regardless of marketing preferences.
